Temporary Closure of Tattenhall HWRC
Cheshire West and Chester Council has temporarily closed the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) at Red Lane, Tattenhall for essential repairs. It is hoped that the site will re-open around 1st November. Details of the closure, of other available sites and how to register to use the recycling sites can be found HERE
Road Closure – Huxley Lane
The Parish Council has been notified that Huxley Lane will be closed for drain jetting between the gully outside the Hunting Lodge and the manhole in the verge by The Smithy. The closure will come into force on 5th October and will last for 5 days although it is anticipated that the works will be completed in 1 day. Further details and diversion route can be found HERE.
Bunbury Parochial Charities Grants 2026
Each year Bunbury Parochial Charities award grants to people and organisations in the area. Applications are now invited for this years round of funding and grants will be awarded in December. Bridge Repairs, Tattenhall Road
The Parish Council has been notified that works are to take place to stabilise the bridge on Tattenhall Road, Tattenhall. Works will commence on Monday 24th August, will take approximately 2 weeks and the road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the works. Full details can be found HERE
