A49 Beeston Bridge Closure
The PC has been informed that the A49 Whitchurch Road will be closed at the Beeston railway bridge to enable Network Rail to carry out inspection works. The closure will come into force on Sunday 7th June and will last for 5 days, however it is anticipated that the works will take 1 day to complete. Road Closure A49 Whitchurch Road
The Parish Council has received notification from CW&C Highways of the closure of A49 Whitchurch Road for surface treatment works. The closure notice is for 5 days but it is anticipated that the works will be completed in 2. United Utilities Update
The Parish Council has received the following update from United Utilities about the works they are carrying out on Huxley Lane:
There have been some delays to the scheme due to issues locating several services. An extension has been granted, with a revised construction completion date of 22 May 2026, followed by an additional period for reinstatement. The customer team has provided the school with an update and is engaging with residents in the area. Closure of Huxley Lane
The PC has been informed that Cheshire West and Chester Highways will be closing Huxley Lane on Friday 24th April for drain jetting works. Full details of the closure and diversion route can be found HERE .
