TIVERTON VILLAGE SOCIETY
There have been two village events over the Christmas period.
1. The Village Carol Service in the Chapel
For the second year running there was a Carol Service led by the new minister. She made everyone feel welcome and gave a lively address. There were readings, poems and musical items by the residents of the village, young and old followed by mince pies, tea and coffee. Hopefully this will establish itself as an annual event.
2. The New Year's Eve Dance in the Village Hall
The dance was well organised by Hazel Wrightson and her sister Penny. The dance was a sell out. There was a lovely atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the occasion.
The Village Society is here to help with advice and finance for village activities.
